Young adults ages 18–24 who live in Chicago. We especially welcome participants from Englewood, West Englewood, Auburn Gresham, and Chicago Lawn. No tech experience is required.
No. The program is designed for beginners. We’ll teach you from the ground up.
Nothing. The program is fully funded by the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority. There is no cost to you.
Yes. Participants who complete the program receive a completion incentive. Details are shared when you enroll.
8 weeks, three days per week: Monday and Wednesday (90 minutes each) and Friday (2 hours).
Cohorts start at different times. When you apply, you can indicate your preferred start date. We’ll contact you with the next available cohort.
Cybersecurity basics, Python programming, databases, networks, and VR/AR. You’ll also get mentoring, violence prevention support, and job readiness training.
Yes. We focus on job readiness—resumes, interviews, and connections to employers. Many tech and security roles look for the skills you’ll build here.
