About the role
Join the NSDI program as an instructor delivering accessible, hands-on cybersecurity training. You will guide a small cohort through fundamentals, labs, and career readiness — helping participants earn industry certifications and move into the workforce.
Responsibilities
- Lead weekly classes covering networking, security operations, and incident response basics.
- Run hands-on labs and review participant work.
- Mentor participants on certification prep (Security+, Network+).
- Adapt lessons for learners new to IT.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Security+, Network+, or equivalent certification (or strong professional experience).
- Prior teaching, training, or mentorship experience preferred.
- Excellent communication; able to explain technical concepts simply.
