About the role
Volunteers are the backbone of our outreach. You'll represent Gordies Foundation at events, share program information with prospective participants and families, and help us build trust in the neighborhoods we serve.
Responsibilities
- Staff outreach tables at community events and schools.
- Distribute program materials and answer basic questions.
- Refer interested individuals to program staff for follow-up.
Qualifications
- Reliable and friendly; comfortable speaking with the public.
- Connection to Chicago's South or West side communities is a plus.
- Available a few hours per month, including occasional weekends.
